Designed specifically for recent RENAULT vehicles (Renault, Dacia, Samsung) manufactured since 2018, equipped with petrol and diesel engines requiring a Renault RN17 approved oil.
As the RN17 standard is backward compatible, MOTUL Specific 17 5W30 also meets the requirements of the RN0710 and RN0700 standards, making it suitable for older engines requiring these specifications.
For non-RN17 compatible diesel engines produced before September 2018 (Euro 6d-Temp standard), only use an RN0720 approved lubricant such as MOTUL Specific 0720 5W-30.
This oil is compatible with Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF), Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) systems, catalytic converters, and Gasoline Particulate Filters (GPF).
